I just set up my premium hosting account and I have the IP addresss, you know the temp one before your site sets up in the day or two. My question is will the IP web address still work after my domain is set-up so that I can change it in the WordPress admin area? I would assume so, but seeing as how I am not 100% sure, I thought I would ask.

yes, since you will have the same IP when the domain kicks in it'll still work using IP to get to your account (I'm assuming you mean: ***.***.***.***/~cpanelname).

However you probably won't need to wait two days for that, most cases it is operational within a few hours of configuration.
