Just changed domain to a new one...

I've just changed the domain via x10hosting.com/control/ by clicking modify domain, and i selected .co.cc as the domain (trustfm.co.cc)
Whenever I put the domain into my browser it comes up with a page saying the domain is available! Help?

These changes take a while to go through x10s systems, and can then take a further period of time to apply. If you look in the pending actions section of your control panel, you should see the domain change in a queue. Keep an eye on this, but it should eventually be processed and apply.

Bigger issue actually, it -did- apply, just like it's supposed to, but the domain itself wasn't registered over at co.cc.

@kieranite: We can't automatically register domains over at co.cc; they're a popular mostly-free domain registrar so you have to quick jet over to www.co.cc and register the domain. The good news is once it's registered, point the name servers @ ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com and it should start working soon as DNS updates, cause it's been set up properly at x10 already.



The Downside is not all co.cc domains are free; some are considered "premium," like trustfm.co.cc, which would cost $3 to use. You may want to register a different domain -first- and then do another domain-change request here once you get a domain you're happy with.
