Just Purchased my new computer!!

I just purchased my new computer that Im building from Newegg!!! I cant wait for the parts to arrive!

here is the specs let me know what you guys think -

Case - Aspire XNAVIGATOR w/450W PS
Motherboard - ASUS socket 478
Graphics - Nvidia geforce FX 5500 (not that great, not really a gamer)
CPU - P4 3.0GHz Presscott 800M front side bus
Memory - 1 gb dual channel ddr 400 (pc3200)
Hard Drive - 200 GB
And a 16x dvd burner

Really Good one, man specially the memory, the hard disk and the processor. WOW 1 Gb RAM, and the DVD Burner it's awsome, I love mine.

Whats the color of your aspire-X ? silver or black ? I think you should buy a mobo that comes with the PCI Express, since its growing up. But with 1GB dual channel ddr 400 (pc3200) & 200GB HDD? D-A-M-N. Thats hot! Plus DVD Burner? d-d-d-damn.

Got it all installed and running... and ohhh my gosh is it FAST!! It's sooooooo awesome, I cant even descibe how happy I am!

AMD > Intel

AMD is mostly for gaming, while Intel is for applications. You know anything about the processors you can guess why.

lol are you serious Dewayne? Becasue If it was I would like to see that. Lol. I also agree with you on that amb vs. intel thing but Intel has some good functions for gaming also but AMD is better.

Wow those of us in Michigan on this board have killer systems. I've got an AMD gaming beast. Its specs are posted in another thread around here. Anyways Great system. I'm and AMD guy. 1 GB of ram is nice. I speak from experience. I don't know what I'd do with 200GB hard drive. I have 80 and thats all I need. I record TV on my puter too I just burn it on DVD after I see it if I want it and if not delete. Anyways great system have fun.
