According to the current TOS
Currently x10hosting only accepts sites that are in English, Spanish, or French.

I'm making a website that will be mainly in french (like my others), but when I'm done with it, I planned to have a parallel website in english and arabic, forgetting that x10 doesn't allow arabic.

So I'd really like it if you guys allowed arabic content.
Why these language restrictions btw?

Moved to Support.

But I think arabic is not allowed. Only the content must be in English, Spanish or French. (Because we don't understand arabic)

The main reason the languages are restricted are because the staff we have here at x10 ( some, not all ) are fluent in those languages. If we were to "hire" new staff that could prove they were fluent in a new language, then that would be considered.

But for now, thats the choices you have to work with. We are sorry we are unable to help you more with this matter.

All content should be available in either English, Spanish or French.
Other languages can be provided, but the content must be available in one of those. At least, that's the way I interpret the ToS.

We don't allow this as per to the Yahoo Ads TOS, they don't allow any other language other than English, Spanish, and French, so we must comply.

Yahoo ads TOS? I'm sorry, it doesn't seem that I display any Yahoo ads on my account. (Maybe they do in the corporate plan? (I'm on advanced.))

So, can I have a small sub-website in arabic on my website?
Edit:
Okay. Maybe not. I just re-asked as a reaction to what Brandon said lately.

I think we should be allow to content other language. If you want to check what user's host content and you can't understand their language, you can use translate engine such as google translate... Otherwise, you can check a website through information in English and French.

Question /not/ answered actually. I still don't know what YahooADS have to do with my hosting account.

I was about to point that out. Yahoo ads don't show up on my pc (blocked via adblock and noscript), but they also don't appear as being blocked here on the forums (or on my x10advanced account for that matter) :S

I'm as confused as yahia as to why we're complying with the yahoo tos when it doesn't appear that yahoo's being used at all...

If they allow one account to have other languages, they must allow all. It is only fair. At least, that is how I understand it

I don't see where's the problem. Static and Advanced people don't have YahooADS on their web account, so the language restrictions or the y! TOS needn't to be applied on everyone.

Well, if they allow people to have whatever language they want on the Static or Advanced plans, then to be fair, they have to allow it on the Corporate plan. Personally, it seems really stupid to alter the ToS to affect certain plans. The ToS is supposed to be universal on all plans, so if something is prohibited on one plan, it is prohibited on all plans.
