The reason why we limit the upload size so severely is to deter people from uploading things like pirated movies, songs, games, etc. Also, please note that even if you're only planning on uploading images/personal videos, that our Terms of Service restricts any personal galleries (pictures/videos/whatever) to at most 1GB.

If you're talking about the upload termination during upload via FTP, Try limiting your upload speed, as it seems like if you use too much CPU, the upload cancels mid-way.
