Why dont you decrease your rules or tos as the x10hosting rules are very strict and i think out of 100 min 70 are getting account suspended.. That does not mean that it will be decreased much but focus on some important points like...
-Adult contents
-hacking softwre
-crackd softwre
-rapidshare hacking
-using for phishing and file exchange..

This much rules are important but your rules are almost 1 page and very difficult to maintain by the users too... And now days many hosting sue are offering same services like your site... And the users those who are suspended once they will never return back here... So please keep my request and reduce the rules [ToS]

What exactly in the T.O.S. don't you like? Be specific.

And the vast majority of users never have a problem with the T.O.S. Even those who did not read it.

I noted the conspicuous absence of proxies, chats/shoutboxes and other major system drags in that list. The attitude seems to be "well, I guess I'll agree not to break the law if I have to, but I don't see why I should have to share with the other kids in this free shared hosting sandbox."

So you think it is OK to teach people how to break into servers, defeat safeguards to make sure people are paid for their products, etc? Fine. Find a host that shares your outlook. I like a host that does not allow sites that foster crime.

With 10,000 or so accounts per server, you are willing to mess them all by using server-intensive scripts. Nice and selfish.

Fine. email them to your friends or sign up for one of the filesharing sites. That is not what x10hosting wants. And it usually ends up with a ton of stolen/hacked/nulled/copyrighted stuff.

Hacking is hacking, so it's forbidden.

Sharing of software and games for mobile are allowed IF ITS LEGAL TO DO SO. If it's not freeware software and you're distributing a game that costs even $0.01 it's illegal by US law and thus by ours.


That's pretty much it, end of story. A lot of the TOS rules are in there because it's illegal where the servers are based, and the DMCA doesn't protect us if we're providing a haven for illegal stuff.


The TOS has been the same since 2005, with very few changes other than clarifying of some sections.

You guys need to get the correct definition with the copyright rule. I can take software that costs $$ and redistribute it for free IF the licence allows me(GPL anyone?)

Similarly i could get hammered for redistributing free software because the licence explicitly removes my right to distribute it.
