Maybe someone already asked it but i didn't found.
i know that i can't host or link any copyrighted material
but can i give a link to a youtube video like this one :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84WJLzpQh_o
meaning that my visitors will have to go on youtube to watch it.
is that against the rules?

Yes, You can place a link to youtube on your website. youtube doesn't have illegal or copyrighted material.

Whether they have illegal material or not, it is your responsibility to make sure that your links from youtube or elsewhere are not illegal.

The link you've provided doesn't seem to be illegal, so you can place it with no problems.
You can't link to illegal material, for example to a film, mp3 songs, etc.
