Living Avatars

Looking at some of the phpBB ads, I found one for living avatars. I thought I'd check it out, and this mod is awesome! It works for either vBulletin 3 or phpBB 2 install was very simple. It it a system that gives you 1 point for every post you make. You can than use those points to buy stuff for your avatar. And it is free.

In my opinion it would be a great addon for the forums.

I agree. From looking through at the different things that you can do with this modification. I think it looks pretty sweet.

And IMO, people should post because they have something useful to say, not just to gain points to pimp out thier avatar.

Ai, its a suggestion. It is a useful thing. Therefore, quiet down. Everyone here is free to express their ideas.

1) It adds more confusion to the points systems

2) Dressing up avatars is what MMORPGS are for

3) Normal avatars allow for more individuality

4) Reminds me too much of GAIA, which is (IMO) a terrible site.
