Go back to the cPanel page, and go to the lost password section. Ensure it's not a password problem, first.

Is there any way to get to the lost password form without being first logged in at cpanel?

I got the same problem man. I log in to my account at x10hosting, click on the link to my cpannel, type in my acct and pass that I used to log in to x10hosting, doesn't work. Gives me a Log in attempt failed. There is no button to get lost password or anything.

I go back to the x10hosting account page, use the form to change my hosting account details, but that won't work in my cpannel either. I looked at all the emails I got from x0hosting when registering, but none of them have my cpannel info and I don't know how to change it. I remember I had to make like 3 different accts and passes when i signed up, but I do not remember them and I can't find an option to send them to my email to recover their passwords.

My URL: http://kyled.pcriot.com
My x10hosting acct (not sure if this is for cpannel too): kyle_d
My hosting package: Adfree

On your cPanel login page there is a password reset area, just enter your user name and click on the button.

Here I took some pics:

I click the cPanel URL. It takes me to:

I try to login, doesn't work. So I click cancel. It takes me to:

I try to login once again, and I get this:

As you can see, there is no Lost password button, just the error.

When the first prompt comes up, click cancel, it'll take you to the second one, and you should see it. You can see one on mine at http://rpope904.x10hosting.com:2082, you can probably use that one if needed.
By the way, you do not have to go through the account section to get to cPanel.. Just go to your site, ex. http://rpope904.x10hosting.com and add :2082 to the end of it, like I did above.

Weird that you have that option on yours but i don't on mine...

Anyways, I typed in my user name and it said it sent an email but it did not.. so I think I need to talk to an Account Manager or Admin to fix this for me.

I have the same problem. I can login to the "Account manager" but when I try to login to cPanel I cant because it says my password is incorrect.
I cant use ftp either.

I don't believe this is a password problem. At 11am today I signed up for an account and couldn't login to cpanel. I got the same login window as the original poster - without the lost password section. I tried a couple of times, read this post and then gave up... Figured I'd look into it later.

At about 12.30 I tried again, this time I got the cpanel login window with the lost password section. I was able to login with the username and password I had chosen earlier, I dd not have to use the lost password reset. Just now (2.15pm) I tried again. I get the cpanel window without the lost password section and again I can't login.

Something is going on here, and its not that everyone is forgetting their passwords. I'm going to try again later I guess. If you guys see the window with the lost password section, try logging in normally with the password you think you have. I think you'll be able to get in.
