I tried to log in to the account management panel and received the following error:

[begin error message]
Although you've logged in successfully, there was an error retrieving your account's hosting type from the backend system.

Please post on our forums to seek support on this issue.
[end error message]

I have only recently signed up with X10. I received the action email, clicked the link and received email confirmation that my account "has been successfully created". I can clearly log in to the forums fine (duh, lol). I am unable to log in to cpanel (scign.pcriot.com) with the authentication details in the email confirmation (error returned: "Login failed").

Yesterday I was able to log in to the account management panel, through which I successfully requested a PHP upgrade and configured my domain name. I have changed my domain nameservers to point to ns1.x10hosting.com (74.86.117.243) and ns2.x10hosting.com (74.86.117.241). Entering my domain name in a browser no longer goes to my old location.

Going to scign.pcriot.com shows what looks like a standard parking page saying:
[begin confusing message]
The domain "scign.pcriot.com" is available. To get register this domain visit http://x10hosting.com/ and sign-up for your free account.
[end confusing message]

- How come the name is still available after I received confirmation yesterday that the sign up was successful?
- How come I am unable to log in to cpanel?
- If there is an issue that you need to resolve on my account, when can I expect to be able to upload my website?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

What is your cPanel login name? If it's scign it's been terminated. You will need to signup again, and have it re-linked. Visit the logout link above prior to signing up again.

OK I'll do that, but why would it have been terminated - I only signed up on Wednesday!!

Didn't realise it would take so much effort, hassle and inconvenience to get in...

I would really like to understand why the cpanel account was terminated so that if it was a mistake on my part, I can avoid the action(s) that led to it so I can avoid it in future.
