CMS websites are all over the place. There have been a number of topics and posts about this on the forums already. Why not try searching the forum first before posting threads. This is kind of annoying and if you read the rules, you could get punished for it by x10hosting admins.

To answer your question though, here are a few freely downloadable CMS that can be used as community websites too.

Drupal, Izabi, Dolphin Boonex,

Just google for them. Good luck!

joomla, wordpress, mambo, drupal. it would be far easier top make a browser based game in straight php. i dont think it would make it very easy using a cms.

You will honestly get a thousand people saying Joomla, Drupal, e107, etc.
There has been a few dozen posts ( within the last few months ) all asking the same question. Which is the best, which should I use.

Best bet? Take a few examples and test each other, see what you like, what works for you and what may work for what you are after.

Some ideas :

Joomla
Drupal
e107
Nuke ( Platnium, Evolution, etc )

OOOh, sorry I didn't read your post.
Anyways if you want a game integrated into a CMS, I would recommend either Joomla or Drupal, Wordpress is only good for general CMS'es and not really good for direct php coding, and mambo just destroys coding.

You see, that'd be violating the x10 TOS, and promoting piracy is BAD.

Anyways, I've used PluckCMS for a long time, but its really feature limited and difficult to customize.

I am in need of a new CMS for my site redesign.

I'll post back with any good results I find.

I will consider 'tittat's suggestion to check on cmsmatrix.org .. the best place to look for.. as you can find comparison's there.
And someone posted earlier try it, coz something that will b better for you, might not be better for someone. Depends on what your requirement are.

I am also new to CMS but have been loitering around on the web trying different ones but on my part joomla was thr.(not completely but somewhat)
