Actually, you will need the ability to checkout from an svn repo. what i'm currently using on windows is tortoiseSVN. With svn and trac, it allows us to easily see what has been modified to the files that you upload. trac highlights what's been removed in red and what's added in green.

EDIT:
once we get the team together, we're gonna have a meeting about how things should go. for example, graphics designers: don't use jpegs. use png's if at all possible. if there's a good reason to use gifs (animation or w/e, that fine), it's just png's the best image format for websites.
programmers, we're gonna go over what kind of programming style is gonna be implemented. I can't get into it now, but consistency is the key to a good project.
