In my opinion..
Use Adobe Photoshop & look for a "how to make a logo for website" guide somewhere in the net..
there are really good tuts around. & you can really make cool logo's ;D

I know I'm late , but photoshop is pretty expensive... Not everybody can afford it and you don't need all the options photoshop provides for a logo ... Try gimp or another open source software if you don't want to pay US $699 for photoshop

well, I will launch a website soon where I will design Logos for free...but as of now, I can do nothing...AAA logo is very nice but it costs $69 and I already have photoshop and don't want to spend any more cash
