I recently ( last night ) was able to get a little better of a phone ( Okay - its not that great, but its better than what my old phone was )

I have a Samsung SPH-a640 and I am looking for some free ringtones, wallpaper, games, apps ...
I tried 3guppies, but am still waiting for the txt message they were to send to activate my account.

Does anyone know of sites I can access with my phone to get free ringtones and whatnot?

Ok, the phone has 4mb built in and no card slot.
It only supports polyphonic ringtones(midi files).
It has bluetooth.

Do you have a bluetooth dongle for your PC, it is a cheaper root than getting the over priced USB cables. This way you could just send data via the bluetooth connection.

Maybe try googling links for free polyphonic ringtones or midi files from your PC and then once you have found a site that you can download to your PC, use the phone and go there.

Another way would be if you told me what songs you want I could upload to the net and then send you the links. My current colection is at about 4k songs in midi format. Note that polyphonic fell off the map about 2 years back, so I havn't been updating it.

In regards to wall pappers. I always make my own.
Your phone :
Type: LCD (Color TFT/TFD)
Colors: 65,536 (16-bit)
Resolution: 128 x 160 pixels

Make image as a jpeg and then upload to a host and then go to the link from your phone !

I got the Nokia 5300, Not too special but It it better then most.
I get all my ring tones from http://ringtones.msnemotions.org/ and transfer them via mem. card or usb.

Again, my problem is - I don't have a mem card or usb cable to use. I have to be able to get them while connected on my phone. I have bluetooth on my phone, but nothing on my computer is bluetooth.

You have no other option other than looking for a good website which allows you to send ringtones directly to your phone. I'll look around and see if there are any websites that do that.

Or ones that have mobile phone sites, where I can goto it while using my phone. I use to have one long time ago, but had to cancel the service, since I couldn't afford it. Wish I would of written it down.

There is the option of checking any local Dollar Tree's (aka The Dollar Store, Family Dollar, whatever they're called in your area. Discount shops.).

I lucked out at a local one; USB-2-MiniUSB, USB extension cables, Male-to-Male USB cables (pc-2-pc transfers), etc.

They sold out in a hurry, but it's worth a shot for $1 (usb 1.1, but again, at that price you can't complain).

I may have to. Or contact the computer company I have a computer on order and upgrade one of the parts to include bluetooth - so then my phone and the laptop will work together. :)
