Magento install error...

After looking for a decent open source e-commerce solution I stumbled on Magento which appears to be exactly what i need. I uploaded and extracted the package contents, started to install when I received this error:

"PHP Extension "pdo_mysql" must be loaded"

I quickly opened up another tab in Firefox and searched the forums to see if anyone else had encountered the same problem. To my surprise there were a couple but no definite solution.

My PHP version is Intermediate (As suggested)
My Server is Lotus.x10
My domain is mahele.x10hosting.com
My username is mahele

I have a support ticket( # 209576 )

pdo_mysql is currently on hold. Due to the way we do our PHP versions we have to do some modifications to add it in. When Bryon has some free time he will do this but I can not give an ETA at the moment.
