magic quotes

Is there a way to turn magic_quotes_gpc off? I know that I can manually do it in an include or something, but as I have basically coded an entire system, I don't really want to go back and add another library to every single page?

I can disable magic quotes for the advanced version of PHP. Apply for it and include a link to this thread when you do. I was already trying to figure out if I wanted to disable them when I originally set up the separate versions.

I have the advanced version, and before the server move, magic quotes were disabled. Now, the panel still says that I have the advanced version, but magic quotes are back on?
Can I get them disabled? I use mysql_real_escape_string to prevent SQL injection...
