Mail account not deleting

I am trying to delete an email account through cPanel but cPanel is saying it doesn't exist, I understand it doesn't exist because I deleted the subdomain that it was associated with but when I deleted the subdomain I didn't know that any email accounts associated with the subdomain would remain in cPanel. So is there any way to manually delete it or at least make it stop counting towards my email account limit?
