Hi,

I originally published my site using 150m.com, but it kept getting the host site's adverts all over it, horrible site (though damned easy to publish to & maintain, I have to say) !!!

I've now made some layout amendments and published my site here and all is fine except for my Mail Form. This was written in HTML, grabbed and manipulated by me from other sites, though I am no HTML programmer, and needs amending ... but I don't know how and would like some advice, if anybody can help ...

This is my code :

Code:
<FORM METHOD=POST
ACTION="http://tools.150m.com/formmail/vodkasoda.150m.com">
<INPUT TYPE="HIDDEN" NAME="send" VALUE="yes">
<TABLE BORDER=0>
<TR><TD>Your Name            : </TD><TD><INPUT TYPE="TEXT" NAME="Your Name"></TD></TR>
<TR><TD>Your Email Address   : </TD><TD><INPUT TYPE="TEXT" NAME="Your Email Address"></TD></TR>
<TR><TD>Your Phone Number    : </TD><TD><INPUT TYPE="TEXT" NAME="Your Phone Number"></TD></TR>
<TR><TD>Comments             : </TD><TD><TEXTAREA NAME="Comments" ROWS=10 COLS=45></TEXTAREA></TD></TR>
<TR><TD COLSPAN=2><INPUT TYPE="SUBMIT" VALUE="Send Details"></TD></TR>
</TABLE>
<INPUT TYPE="HIDDEN" NAME="resulturl" VALUE="http://vodkasoda.150m.com/Thanks.html">
</FORM>
Obviously I need to change the hard-coded references that currently refer to 150m to refer to x10hosting ... I think I am OK with the second one, but I'm not sure what I should be putting in the first one, which currently says :

Code:
ACTION="http://tools.150m.com/formmail/vodkasoda.150m.com"
... As far as I understand it, as soon as somebody fills in the form & clicks on the Submit button, the details of the form are forwarded to my E:Mail address ...

Any help appreciated ...

The old ACTION you have was probably a script that took the input from the form and created the e-mail for you. We don't have anything like that at X10, so you'll have to create your own script using php, perl, etc.

You can google "php e-mail form" and get a tutorial. If you need any more help, let me know :)

I downloaded a lovely little example called "FormToEmail" from FormToEmail.com and it explains things perfectly ... I have amended the site, tweaked as I wanted and it works great, thank you ...
