mail() has been disabled for security reasons

Hello, I run a Wordpress blog and I schedule databases backups to be mailed to me daily. However I have not received mail for quite a while, and when I checked it says that "mail() has been disabled for security reasons".

Just wondering, will this disability be lifted anytime soon?

This will probably be enabled again after the server moves/configurations are all done.

Should be re-enabled once the migrations are done and they can put the monitors (to prevent abuse) in place.

My e-mails have been down for over a week now. This is seriously damaging now. I'm considering switching hosters..
