hi. im relatively new to the technical side of hosting webpages. also my html was pretty rusty when i startet coding ;)

i have bought a domain: sagui-musik.de, and put the x10 nameservers for the domain. then i addet the domain as a parked domain on my x10 space and addet an email adress for the domain on my space. now i cant get the mail (kontakt@sagui-musik.de) to work.
is it in general possible for me to run an adress from my domain over my space ? or do i have to route it ?

do i have to define mx entrys ? and if yes, where and which ? or is it simply a matter of adding a entry in the nameservers ?

im really new to this, so please dont just bash me for beeing so unknowing.

the respone i get from my mailer daemons are:
Hi. This is the qmail-send program at mailout-de.gmx.net. I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses. This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out. <kontakt@sagui-musik.de>: 84.16.249.83_does_not_like_recipient./Remote_host_said:_554_5.7.1_<kontakt@sagui-musik.de>:_Relay_access_denied/Giving_up_on_84.16.249.83./

also: when i go for sagui-musik.de i end up having http://wurst.x10.mx/ in the url, how to fix that ?
thanks in advance for helping a lot !

Dear da-flex72,

This is not happening.I have verified it.The Top Level Domain is resolving properly and is working correctly.

I think explaining with an example will work.
MX Entry feature allows you to route a domain's incoming mail to a specific server. Please note that changing the MX entry will result in the DNS records being changed.
This is how you configure Email Routing :
To determine how mail will be routed for a domain:
a) Select the domain from the pull-down menu.
b) Select an option under Email Routing:
Automatically Detect Configuration — The server will automatically detect, and use, the configuration set below and detailed under the MX Records heading at the bottom of the page.
Local Mail Exchanger — The domain will accept mail, regardless of whether a higher-priority mail exchanger has been designated. (If a higher-priority mail exchanger exists, mail will be routed to both domains.)
Backup Mail Exchanger — The domain will act as a backup mail exchanger, holding mail in queue if the primary exchanger becomes unavailable.
note Note: You will need to configure the primary MX entry to point to the appropriate exchanger.
Remote Mail Exchanger — The domain will not accept mail, instead sending it to the primary mail exchanger.
note Note: You will need to configure the primary MX entry to point to the appropriate exchanger.
c)Click Change.

Add a New MX Entry
a) Under Add New Record, set the priority for the new MX entry, keeping in mind that 0 is the highest priority. Here are some key points to consider when assigning priority to MX entries:
Lower values denote higher priority, with 0 being the highest possible priority.
The primary mail server(s) (with the lowest-numbered priority) will receive mail sent to your domain.
Backup, or secondary, mail servers (those with higher priority values) can be used for backup or other purposes.
If you assign multiple mail servers the same priority, when that level of mail server is needed, mail will be distributed to those servers randomly.
b) In the Destination text box, type the hostname of the new mail exchanger.
PICK Important: This must be a fully qualified domain name (FQDN). You cannot specify an IP address here.
c) Click Add New Record to store the changes.

i looked into my mx settings, and they are already set on automatic, where i have 1 record: with: 0 sagui-musik.de. so i gues my mx settings are ok. how come, when i try to send an email to kontakt@sagui-musik.de i get daemon failures ?

im really new to all these technical sides of webpages, so plz bear over with me...

i contacted my domain hoster today. they said, since i use your nameservers, the problem must be solved at x10hosting...
