I currently upgraded my php to the intermed. setting to allow myself to use mail()....however, the script is still feeding me this error:

Warning: mail() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/bec5008/public_html/mail.php on line 9

If anyone could offer their advice I would appreciate it greatly. Thank you.

Do you have multiple accounts ?
You're saying that you're getting that error with the hosting account: "bec5008", but the one linked to your forum account is "hoppus01".
hoppus01 has PHPv2 and bec5008 has PHPv1.

You're only allowed to have one hosting account. You'll have to choose which one you want to keep, and which one you want deleted.

if you could delete bec5008 that'd be great...I don't understand how there are two, but I think I have it sorted out...thank you for your insight into this terribly dumb situation...
