Main URL pointing to Tumblr

Hi,

Is there a way to point my main domain to a Tumblr account?

I tried to change it in the Zone Records but I couldn't set an CNAME-Record pointing to domains.tumblr.com from my main domain (the one without www.). I'm receiving an "already existent SOA Record" which I don't what is.

And thus, if I enter, in Tumblr, www.mydomain.x10.mx it says it's pointing to mydomain.x10.mx (obviously), and once this record is already a three level domain I can't use an A-Record as noted here.

I read other topics saying I should not do this because I would lost access to my account. I can't see how this is true because I would access only the cPanel and the FTP and both of them have their own A-Records pointing to my account's shared IP Address.

the DNS zone update will need to be done by x10hosting administrator in WHM - not sure if this is allowed though.

If this is allowed, I would like to.

you can also register your own free TLD like dot.tk

I can't register a domain in Dot.tk. I'm receiving a Forbidden page after click the "Go" button.
