Make me the best possible computer using the above site using the least amount of money (preferably around $1000 or less). List the parts (or part numbers) and the overall price underneath in your post.

50 points to each person who does it.,

Basically those are the parts I would put, but get the cheapest case they have. It's not like people see your case, it basically just sits there... unless you have it in a museum. Other than that I have no idea wtf you would need a nice case for, unless you have extra money to blow. And aparently he is on a budget, so downgrade the case and if you are still in to spending that much cash, then buy a better HD. :hsdance:

Intel sucks, ATI sucks, and Seagate sucks. That's just the rule of thumb for techies (and if you look at benchmarking and specs.)

But, nicely done with the Kingston, they are a good brand. Trust me if you want a good comp, go Desert's way but drop the case off and get a way cheaper one.

As I said earlier, you're best bet is to include this in your package. That is one hell of a deal (the motherboard is pretty good) aswell as the card. This is the main thing you're going to want depending on what you're going to be doing with your comp.

For those of you who submitted a FULL system (including all the essentials) PM me for your points.

For those of you who have built your own PC or have knowledge in the area, could you basically give me a breakdown of how money should be spent on a system I am wanting to built for both gaming and everyday work.

WTF are you somoking on? First of all Segate dose not suck. It is one of the best. I have a Western Digital and I liked it like you but not untill it crashed 3 times for no reason. I still have it but I also have a Seagate on another CP and it has not crashed. Ever.

Ati. is also one of the best. I am not saying that nVisia sucks but I am saying that Ati is better. It is better to me. I fell that some people fell the same way. They both are good but Ati is better to me.

Intel is the best. FINAL. Intel has never betreayed me like AMD. I have always loved intel and I always will unless somthing bad happens. AMD has burned up on me and for that I hate it.

Kingston is a good brand. Thank you. I also love Kingston. It is the way to go.

Yeah I am leaning towards AMD at the mo', becasue the 64-bit is the future and I think performance wise, the AMD will do better for what I am looking to do on this system.

As for the companies making these HD's, memory, and whatnot, its basically all the same technology and they are sticking a brand name on it just like with cars so I can't see one neccasarily outperforming the other it may just be the luck you have with one or the other. Obviously you aren't going to buy a product that breaks down on you numerous times especially if you own a different brand of the same product that hasn't broken down but it can go either way. Its just the way the cookie crumbles.

Micro, just because you own an ATI, an Intel, and a Seagate... does not mean they are the best. Benchmarking results prove that nVidia almost doubles ATI's performance in video cards, AMD completely wipes Intel off the scoreboard, and Seagate is out-down by Western Digital (you want to see the proof? Google it, you will find tons of benchmarking tests to prove this).

First off: The nVidia 7800GTX is the best card out there (it doubles ATI's X1800 in every test they've done.)

Second: All processing chips have something like a waiting line (process commands are stored in this line until they are ready to be processed). How it originally worked is that Intel made their lines a certain size, and AMD came out with processors that have the waiting lines cut in less than half of Intels, so Intel came out with the Dual and Quad processing motherboards (to hold 4 processors, for those of you who don't know). AMD then did the same thing (since their waiting lines are shorter, they still are faster than Intels). Now AMD has the first public 64-bit processor and with their short waiting lines, the Intel chips are completely out of the competition. So basically, they ****ing suck.

Third: That is your harddrive that crashed, maybe you had boughten a defective one, maybe you did something to it by accident when you installed it (most likely by yourself, did you ground yourself when you installed it? Probably not). Also if you look at the reviews for Western Digital and Seagate, you will find that Western Digital turns out to be more relianle, trusted, and of a higher quality than Seagate (and atleast Western Digitial is made in North America).

I already have explained in my previous post that the benchmarking results prove my statements, so before you reply and tell me what it is that "you" believe, please google some stuff first. Thanks for your time. :hsdance:
