Mambo PHP Error

Why do I get this everytime I try to install mambo?

The following errors were found :

• Mambo is not compatible with PHP version 5.3+

How can I install mambo?

x10hosting runs PHP v 5.3.162

If Mambo won't run on PHP 5.3+, it will not run on x10hosting.

There is no way to set your account so it runs on an older version of PHP.

There is no version of Mambo compatable with PHP 5.3.16 .

The latest stable release of Mambo is 4+ years old.

Unless you are trying to migrate an existing Mambo site, I suggest you try another CMS.

A bunch of programmers took the Mambo code in 2005 and developed it in their own direction.
