btw, my theme is based off of the royale theme available for download from microsoft
the background is a rip off of 'new bliss' (also available in the royale theme pack), and is incorporated with halo thanks to a halo fan

Ahoy, I've modified my desktop setup a little... firstly I changed the "start" button to "Rock!", and I've changed "Recycle Bin" to "Trash Monster".

The royale theme pretty much owns as far as I'm concerned, and I haven't noticed it slowing my system down at all.

I am assuming you just edited the start button that came with the Royale theme? Nice work.

Actually I edited one of Windows' DLLs using a resource hacking program, so the start button says "Rock!" no matter what theme I use.

Actually it was explorer.exe ... I changed the text over a year ago so I don't remember exactly what I did, but I do remember following a guide from TechTV.
