Actually it was explorer.exe ... I changed the text over a year ago so I don't remember exactly what I did, but I do remember following a guide from TechTV.

You edited the registry, not sure which part though. I did the same thing then reformatted.

TechTV rocked.... I hate G-****ing-4.

I didn't edit the registry, I used a resource hacking program and changed a string in explorer.exe: http://www.theeldergeek.com/change_text_on_xp_start_button.htm .

Ignore the crap on my desktop. My new browser, which I plan to have more security than Firefox, is in its alpha stage and called Bovine Pathfinder. I also have n0m4d WHM, it’s a Web Host Manager I’m working on for a client.

lol no night, what im using is an actual microsoft developed theme
get it here: http://www.microsoft.com/nz/windowsxp/downloads/nzbliss.mspx

download the royale.zip file, and run the executable, it will install the theme that is shown in my screenshot

i dont use any progs like windows blinds, etc since they just cause lag

I got my uxtheme.dll to work so now here is my updated desktop.

Well with XP.. on my laptop.. I can chosse Sliver, Blue/green, Olive green, or clasic.. and I picked olive green

O Rly...i remember that one from sarah lane...she gave us a few Registry hacks..go digging on the site u may find them...i wish i remembered how to do that..

Here's mine Woo...I used to use the classic theme and a grey BackGround and yeah now look. (takes 3 whole seconds longer at startup...)
