Math Mediawiki

Hi there
I'm trying to install math on mediawiki, except apparently you need shell access before you can install math.
What have other people done while installing math of mediawiki?

They've either gone without or used a server that gives them shell access and the ability to run binaries (a VPS). Since there's no way to install or run texvc on Free Hosting, you can't use the Math or MathJAX extensions on a Free Hosting account.

The MathJax mode of the Math extension should work just fine, as this doesn't actually require that the texvc binary exist on the system as far as I can tell.
