max_input_vars - unnable to edit language database

i got this error message from prestashop:

Warning! Your PHP configuration limits the maximum number of fields allowed in a form
1000 for max_input_vars.
Please ask your hosting provider to increase the this limit to 1458 at least or edit the translation file manually.

so im not able to edit languages on the site.
is there a way to fix this? (there is) but can someone help me with it from the staff side?

I've increased the max_input_vars setting to 2000, although you should consider telling prestashop's support that they should modify their script so that it does not try to post as many things all at once (perhaps breaking the translations up into sections).

hey again, thank you for the help earlier, i sent the dev team a email about the problem but got no response and now i got similar problems again but this time its at a ridiculous number of 2291.
now how should i go about this problem? ill at least try to get hold of someone that can answer my questions from prestashop, and ask why the hell they would need to make all translations on the same page.. ok i get it that its easier to search for a specific spelling/grammar error, but its not that much work to go trough ex. 4 pages.
