I'm trying to open DirectAdmin on my account. After logging in to x10hosting, I click on the "Hosting Control Panel" login, and instead of opening DirectAdmin (like it normally does), the following is displayed:

Your IP is blacklisted
http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=306

I don't know why this message is being displayed. I have not been trying to open the control panel for at least a week, and last time I tried it worked fine.

Please fix this so I'm able to use my account (pausatfx).

Thank you!

I have removed your IP from blacklist.

Please ensure you are using the correct credentials when connecting the server to avoid it happening again.

Thank you for fixing it.
I don't understand what you mean by "Please ensure you are using the correct credentials when connecting the server...". The only credentials I ever use are what I use to login at https://x10hosting.com/login and I've always been able to login there without error. After I login there, a new page opens at https://x10hosting.com/panel, titled "DashBoard" and it shows my accounts main domain @ X15 in a select list (it is the only option) and has a big green button next to it titled "Hosting Control Panel". Normally, when I click on that button it opens up https://x15.x10hosting.com:2222/ (which is also titled "DashBoard") which has links to control panel utilities e.g. file manager, phpmyadmin, ... and so on. However, yesterday when I clicked on the "Hosting Control Panel" button, instead of opening the page with the control panel utilities, it displayed the "Your IP is blacklisted" error.

So, in summary, I've always entered credentials only once (when I login to https://x10hosting.com/login) and that has always been working for me. What stopped working is opening up the control panel utilities when I click on the "Hosting Control Panel" button. Since credentials have never been entered when clicking on that link, I was never entering incorrect credentials that could have cause the IP to be added to the blacklist.

To get blacklisted by the server you would need to have had failed logins. Note that failing logins using FTP, or email accounts, for instance would lead to this block as well, not just the DirectAdmin itself, though only after multiple failed attempts.
