It sounds good. I might actually buy one of these. My iPod is getting old.

I wouldn't wait much form Zune, no it seems to have lot of new things like the Wi-Fi, but when it becomes 'real', it would be another one . . . if it finally arrives!

I still love my iPod!

It's spelled Microsoft. There is no dollar sign.

It doesn't make you look cool.

Latest news: Toshiba is going to manufacture the Zune; it's going to have 30 GB of space, have the ability to wireless-ly DJ (one person can broadcast music from their own player so other people can listen to it on theirs), and a 3 inch record-low temperature screen.

Let's just hope it has good battery life.

Bah. Another competitor in an Apple-dominant market. But, it is nice to get choices. The only problem: Apparently Microsoft wants two music services. If I recall correctly, The Zune won't work on Microsoft's own URGE, a service they recently started with MTV/Viacom.

No, I don't know the reasoning behind this. Imagine if MTV-watching Teen #1 downloads a large amount of music on URGE, thinking it'll work on his/her new Microsoft Zune, and it doesn't.

But, then again, this is Microsoft ;)

Sure, Apple dominates the market, but did you see the results of the patent infringement lawsuit with Creative?

Apple had to pay $100 million to Creative a couple days ago to cover Creative's patents on the mp3 player, of which Apple infringed upon. So from now on, for every iPod sold, Creative gets a nice share of money from it. Oh yeah, and Apple must allow Creative to release iPod accessories without interference..

It might be an Apple dominated market, but Creative will be the one making the money..

Now for Apple to settle the next lawsuit with Microsoft over Apple's patent infringement on Microsoft's playlist patent.. I'm predicting 200 million
