Basically, Songsmith generates some music to go along with vocals.

Unfortunately the ad is incredibly cheesy.

The ad is cheesey in a way, but I recall seeing this video a couple weeks ago looking around some other Tech Site

Interesting, as I recall, Microsoft was developing some software to create music (somewhat like GarageBand) nicknamed "Microsoft Monaco" some time around the release of Vista. Maybe this is was in what they were really working for. Has anyone else tried it?
