I'm wondering about the integrity of the migration from cpanel to directadmin for the basic free hosting package. I understand it would be an enormous undertaking for the administrators, but I am experiencing changes in features and outages that continue to degrade the hosting of my site. I also understand that features are limited on free hosting, but why do we lose features from a change in the control panel? With cpanel, I had cgi and perl access, now I'm told it's not a feature of the free hosting package. So I changed my scripts to php and mysql, and now that resource is continually 'temporarily unavailable'. Very difficult and sporadic logins to mysql and phpmyadmin, and scripts rarely working on website. I am being patient, but this concerns me and I need my site working, and I need to be able to manage my database.

I'm a bit disappointed too. I had a working site with SSL a few months ago, then my SSL certificate didn't auto renew. So, I found a setting page by typing SSL in DirectAdmin's search bar and was able to set an auto renewing Let's Encrypt certificate and set a checkbox to force redirection to https. Everything worked and I assumed there was just a glitch during the migration that I managed to get fixed.

Now my site has an SSL certificate with the wrong CN and it is still forcing to https thus breaking the site. The problem now is that the SSL settings page, and all the settings for SSL, are gone. So, I can't uncheck the redirection to https and there's no way to see the site.
