mime_content_type not supported?

I want to install an imageboard script on my hosted site but it appears that x10 does not support mime_content_type. It's a shame since I used x10 a few years ago and it was great.

It's not x10hosting. It's PHP. The function was deprecated and then removed.

http://php.net/manual/en/ref.fileinfo.php is the suggested replacement.
