What do you think of the platform? Do you think the smaller form factor worth the reduced computing capability?

All depends. Many Mini-ITX machines make great media center PCs. Even so with the Netbooks. In cases like that, people aren't concerned too much on the power of the computer compared to how good it is for say streaming 1080p+ video with minimum heat and power consumption. Now for people like me who fold on their PC and run heavy duty games, Mini-ITX machines wouldn't be the most suitable.

Also I have noticed the mini ITX motherboards burn out faster than ATX.
