Missing mySQL database

The thread I posted earlier was closed before resolution... Earlier thread:

"It seems I'm missing my database for a Wordpress installation I have on my account here. If it matters it was most likely titled 'localhost.'"

Corey replied:

"Do you know if this DB was using innodb?"

I don't think so. From googling, it seems that anybody using innodb was modifying the default engine of Wordpress. I obviously don't know much about this sort of thing; the only thing I can say regarding my database is that I simply went to the cPanel section and simply created the database--after that it was only Wordpress that touched it.

Hello,

I'm sorry to inform that the oldest database backup I found seem to be corrupted, just like the one you currently have listed in cPanel (the backup is from July 8th).

Well...that is very unfortunate. What is even more unfortunate is that shortly after x10 had problems I lost my backup along with the computer it was on due to a lightning strike (which rendered the pc well beyond affordable repair). The backup contained about 65 posts. Anyway, thanks for your reply.
