Okay, I give up!

I've registered a new domain at netfirms for bmrestatestore.com. The DNS are pointing to NS1.X10Hosting.COM and NS2.X10Hosting.COM. I also went to my Hosting settings and then to Modify Domain and tried to enter www.bmrestatestore.com as the new domain but it only allowed bmrestatestore.com. Any time I address www.bmrestatestore.com it finds the website but renames the domain to bmrestatestore.com. I want to keep the WWW part! How can I go about doing this? Thanks!

Hello,

It works fine for me. Please clear your browser cache, flush your DNS (as admin in Vista/Win7), cycle your browser, then try again.

That worked for me. Thanks!

For more information:
1. In Firefox I went to Tools, Options, Advanced, Network tab and hit the CLEAR NOW button under Offline Content.
2. In Windows XP I opened a command window by going to Start, Run, and typing CMD and hitting enter.
3. I entered "ipconfig /flushdns" at the prompt and hit enter.
4. I closed the command window and then my browsers.
5. I re-entered my website domain name and the "www" prefix stayed.

Thanks again,
Burnell
