What do you use more for communications?
Me i use the PC alot more as i can phone from my pc, Txt and send emails all from my pc its great.

In terms of voice to voice I use a phone.. for chatting emailing etc I obviously use a computer..

I seem to like Skype alot for voice to voice as this is very similar to the phone, also it is was more cheaper.

For aim i dnt use my phone anymore

one time i went over my txts by like 4,500 from AIM and it was expensive....lmfao

but i mostly use pcs

Outgoing: skype
Incoming: AIM Phone
Talking: MSN/AIM/YAHOO!!!

Definately my phone, i use my phone for work and socially..

i tend to you my computer just for sending emails at work.. and other work related no communication items of business..

For me it is computer because - i normally use up my phone credit within the first 1week of getting it by texting and calling my mates - so i then have to switch to my PC. both as good as each other. I am thinking about getting skype aswell so i can chat voice to voice when I am out of credit.

computer. i have skype too, so everything is bundled up nicely. i can live without a mobile, unless we're talking about my laptop, which i can't. ^^

I definitely use PC more than normal phone or hand phone. Main reason : PC call do not need to pay but phone or HP yes.

use notebook for my work with icq and mail.Also Skype(free program and free connect ;-) very goog for contact if
other country and need of voice for details.
But realy contact is realy what you need in your life if it possible!

I use both equally often actually. Computer for IM'ing and E-Mail and I do call often on my cell phone. The fact that I'm still in New York City and my girlfriend and a good portion of my friends are in the Boston/Cambridge area for their colleges helps.

But when it all comes down to one thing, I prefer meeting in person. I frequently have trouble hearing people say stuff on my cell phone (and sometimes that's when my phone speaker volume is on set high and full RF power [maybe it's because the other side has bad RF?]. I don't think I have hearing problems in person though). I'm less prone to saying something stupid when I have to spontaneously reply on IM and it's less time consuming than e-mails (where I usually cannot send rapid fire e-mails, I usually have to compose one beforehand)

In any case, what a world we live in! We can easily communicate to people that's sooo far away from us!

I like phone because i use sonyericsson w800i. It very good more than a desktop computer.
But not same phone PDA (O2,hp,del)
it can take hight quality photo, music, film, comunication, and some thing as conect internet, download musicm photo.........

this isn't really a debate, but I use my computer for nearly everything...including VoIP. (Although I do have a VoIP adapter that's separate from my computer)

For communicating I use my phone more than anything. Occasionally I use email, but I prefer voice communication.

It has to be the comptuer, as I can email, use MSN etc, however when it comes to voice contact I would use the phone, as normally there is better reception!
