Modified Domain

hello, I just modified my domain from .pcriot.com, to .elementfx.com

The reason I modified was because on .pcriot.com I was getting errors getting to the page, and now that I switched to .elementfx.com I can't seem to even get to the page because it says that the Website specified doesn't exist. I wanted to get premium hosting, but if this is going to happen.. =\


Then I tried to go on another browser incase it was something with cookies or w/e and I got

"404 Not Found
 
The server can not find the requested page:

 glitch.elementfx.com/cgi-sys/.x10hosting.com (port 80) 

Please forward this error screen to glitch.elementfx.com's WebMaster."

It's just a glitch in the system (sorry, couldn't resist)

When you change domain names, the nameservers and cPanel are changed quickly, but the server itself takes time to update (lots of requests, system has to rewrite a huge file and restart, requests batched together and put in a queue).
While it is waiting to update your account, it cannot match your domain to your files, hence the 404 or sometime a 'Default Website Page'. It can take 24-48 hrs to complete.

Just be patient.

Note: On Illuminated or Premium accounts, the same process is much quicker because there are much fewer accounts on each server.
