I've seen programs like this before. Most hard drives, and heck, even a lot of hardware like video cards, CPUs, Motherboards and PSUs now have temperature devices on them that can take readings. On my gaming computer because it's on 24/7, I have the system BIOS doing the same thing as this program is doing, no programs needed.

I'm not a major fan of stuff running in the taskbar/background.

I suggest just getting Everest home edition or SIW to monitor your temps of your mobo, GPU, CPU, and HDD.

I don't like programs like these because they are useless to me and only slow down the CPU speed... If my HDD ever gets too hot it would warn me plus i don't think that could ever happen to me a i've left my computer on for over a month once and it wasn't hot at all.

Might be useful for laptops though .
