Hi everyone, I was just wondering what music player everybody uses and why is it the best?
I personally use WinAmp, with a firefox plugin called FoxyTunes.

I think Winamp is great because it uses low CPU usage and it's very easy to use.
Also, there are tons of skins for it that look just amazing. :p

I just don't like the style of Windows Media Player, and iTunes can be pretty hard to manage.

I use media player classic. I don't really want to look at the media player like I used to. So it covers all the basic's.

Windows Media Player 11, because it has the ability to minimize to the taskbar with controls visible, as a toolbar.

I'm using Cowon's Jetaudio. Sounds better than winamp.

I'm a little bit old school and classical! So since Winamp was created I'm using it as my first and favorite music player, and always with the classical skins!
I tried Itunes especially for the Podcasts search and downloads, but Winamp was and still my favorite player!

I suppose the Windows Media Player taskbar minimizing thing is pretty neat, but its just so slowwww.
768MB RAM and it skips a lot from just browsing the web.

Windows Media Player 11 on Vista. The SRS WOW feature is cool :)

In the past, Windows automatically increased the CPU priority for apps playing media, but that seems to have stopped now.

Windows Media Player + K-Lite Codec Pack; it's all I need. I don't care about memory usage if I'm using it to watch a movie; it's not like I'm multi-tasking in the background

hao!

I've been using winamp ever since ... I've grown with it.. I mean it's cool and all, so I didn't look for any other music player.

Winamp is the best choice for just playing music, it supports a large array of audio codecs and uses minimal system resources. I have it loaded with like a 90+ hour play list and has minimal CPU/RAM usage compared to other media players.

I use Windows Media Player 11 for video playback but that's about it.

Well, I am on 1gig RAM, and my music can be played without any jumping, and I can have 25 different things on the go at once! I would also like to point out that my cpu is only 1.3Ghz AMD, so it is pretty old too!
