Hi,

When I try to add or edit an MX entry, I get the error message:

There was a problem changing the mx entry. Show Details
Error fetching zone data for stpvoices.exofire.net.db's MX

Any ideas?

Thanks :)

Hello, can you please try again now to see if this issue has been resolved now. If the issue further persists please post a screenshot of the exact error you are getting (remove any personal information from the screenshot).

Google apps. also displaying "there is an error in mx entry"
No error messages in x10's mx page.
Google strongly says to put a trialing dot(.) at the end of each ".com." but x10 doesn't allow me to do so...
And when I go back to google apps. it displays the current record with .com in lower case.
like "ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.com"

I have noticed the truncation of the trailing '.' from CPanel and that has not effected my Google Apps hosting. There should also be no case sensitivity, so the lowercase 'com' shouldn't matter.

You can check your actual MX records using http://mxtoolbox.com

My domain turns up: 0 -> aspmx.l.google.com

Yes, I have already tested mx records before and now.. and it says the are correct. (green background)

But google keep saying its wrong.

Currently I have only 1 record, but if I try to put all the records, I cant place same priority values in two records as google says: 10, 20, 20, 30, 30, 30, 30,

i'm trying to activate the email on google apps, i have uploaded the html file, but it still won't verify... i guess that's because i need to update my mx entry.

when i go to my x10 cpanel, i still can't change my mx entries :( i can't delete the existing entry, and i can't add new entries. i'm still getting that error message.

help please?
