Hi folks.

This is the first of many biweekly logins so I can keep my account open, live, active, working, accessible and in good standing. Soon my site will be open to all as a membership site for knitting and crocheting. I hope to see everyone there when it goes live.

Hi knittingpro,

Welcome to x10 hosting.

The inactivity period is 31days now. That means you have to login to forums atleast every 31 days.
The posting is not mandatory.

:)

Oh, ok. I was suspended recently and the notice said I had to log in once every 2 weeks. I guess they have not updated that form yet.:dunno:

Thanks for the info but I will still be posting more regular than once a month.

I'm not sure if you understood what gsonline said. You just have to login, you don't have to post anything if you don't want to. Don't post just to say active, it's not necessary!

Welcome to x10hosting!!!

I find that regularly (once/week or so) stopping by this introductions board and welcoming new folks is a great way to fulfill my login obligation and to do something worthwhile at the same time.

The OT board and the forum games board are good too. If I'm in a debating mood, I'll hop on the Crossfire board. 31 days is the "requirement", and logging in for long enough for the system to see that you've been here is the bare minimum. I figure that as long as I'm logged in, why not participate.

Leviathon, I understood her correctly. All I was saying is that I am going to be on here more than 1 time in 31 days and since I am going to be on here, I might as well post something, right? I mean, what is the sense in coming here and not posting anything, right?

Besides, I might just have something somebody else on here wants.

Just to put it in big red letters:

You don't have to post, just log in.
Best bet is to check the News/Announcements, and Server Alerts.

If you want to be useful, check out the Free Hosting section and, if you're 100% sure on the answer, help someone out. Otherwise you don't have to post anything.

(It's more to let the system know you're still interested in hosting than anything, though)

But if you want to post you still can, we'd enjoy your company :)

I look forward to seeing your site! I love needlework! I've just started cross-stitching. I hope you have tutorials on the knitting. I’ve never been able to figure it out!

You post when you have something to ask, share, ... generally a reason. You don't post something random just to say you were here, that's spaming.

Don't get me wrong I saw a lot of people posting some random stuff because they think they have to. I don't like to see that so I reacted. I'm glad you understand it and wish you a nice stay here with us. This forum is pretty good and there are a lot of reasons to be active. I hope you'll see that ;)
