Hi 10xhosting Support,

First, I want to say that I love your free hosting service, for the most part... Yeah, when it's working properly, it rivals any premium hosting account that I've ever had. Unfortunately, I am experiencing some strange issues at my site and am not enjoying the 99% uptime as advertised (it's more like 85% uptime for me, conservatively).

With that said, let me describe in more detail that which I eluded to in the subject line. Basically, my Wordpress blog pages are inaccessible A LOT and display the following message when I try to open them, to wit:

The page you are looking for is temporarily unavailable.
Please try again later.
And yet, Web pages located in other directories (outside of Wordpress folders) are available and seem to work properly without interruption. Could this have something to do with the "Starka DDoS Attack", even though I'm on the "stoli" server?

Moreover, yesterday morning I got an "Internal Server Error" alert (around 10:30 am Eastern Standard Time; e.g., Florida, USA) and was instructed to report it, as seen in the following quote:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, no-reply@x10hosting.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I was going to report it yesterday, but my blog came right back online within a matter of minutes and seemed to work better afterward, so I decided to hold off until I had further problems. And I don't think it was anything I did, because all I was doing (at the time it occurred) was working on a blog post and pages. But, so far today, I feel like it's been down as much as it's been up, if not more. So I figured I should go ahead and report it now.

Anyway, I hope this support thread makes sense, and I look forward to your reply. If I need to clarify any points, then please let me know which one/s, and I will do my best to elaborate. And thank you very much in advance for any and all help you can provide in this matter. Have a great day and God bless!

P.S. I just remembered something else that I wanted to mention, too. I also seem to get kicked out of my Wordpress blog admin section and have to log back in a lot as well. Thanks again.

The site seems to be up right now, though I will point out that such issues are generally from excessive server load. Not a whole lot that can be done about it, though the problems Starka is having are unrelated to what you are having.

Hi Smith,

Thanks a lot for the insight! And yes, the site is working normally again. Hopefully, it will continue to do so.
