As of right now I'm having a number of issues after the migration to DirectAdmin from CPanel...

Pros:
- The design is slightly better and easy to go through
- Quick access widgets is an amazing thing to have and I'm glad to have them
- Installing from Softaculous auto install is quick and easy with issues

Cons:
- x10Hosting's DirectAdmin is broken... Like REALLY broken
- For some reason I am logging into x15 but on migration my database was completely destroyed so I'll be trying to redo my whole site from scratch
- Manual installing of applications is a pain, and this goes with the database issue above, every time I try to install HumHub (or any applications that aren't shown in the Softaculous auto install) it shows either unable to connect or error 403 Forbidden
- Installing anything from the Softaculous auto install has a 90% chance of breaking on the database end
- No longer able to clear site cache
- FTP access has it's trial and errors as if you were connected to the old server via FTP you can still access the old server your site is hosted on (for me it was xo6)
- Database is NOT hosted on new server location but on the old one (again for me my database is hosted on xo6 not on x15 like my web files)

I'm sure that many of the others that use the free hosting & even the premium versions of the service could add onto this list but this is only from my personal experiences as of the migration, so in conclusion there are a lot of things needed fixed, I believe that the staff will be looking into this if they ever actually look at this post and I hope that things will get fixed as soon as the staff can manage.

Once all migrations are done I'm told that backups should be made available to all users though DirectAdmin.
Mysql will be hosted on your DirectAdmin server, scripts should be using "localhost" to connect, it may be possible that the xo6 still have an mysql server up and running so you could connect that using the xo6 servers hostname, though I have not tried that myself.
FTP: if you use the server hostname you would be sure to end up on the current server when logging into ftp.
There are some work to be done with the servers surely, first priority is however to get accounts tranfered over.

Premium users get to keep cPanel, we are not making any of these changes to those servers.
