My forums have not been able to connect...

for the past week my forums has said that they couldn't connect to my datebase for some reason

but 2 weeks ago it was working mfine (the datebase is still there)

can somebody help me?

Are you using 'localhost' as the server address in your config file? Also check that the username and password are correct.

It may help us if you post the exact error you get, and information about your account (Server Name, account type etc.)

smf is my forum engine and all its says when i typ http://mydomain/forums

it comes up with smf,could not connect with the datebase the server may be busy (something like that)

Check the MySQL settings, you might have changed them, or something happened to them. Make sure it is set to local host and the correct username and password and database.

I've verified that MySQL is functioning correcting on your server, Cossacks. It must be an error with the credentials that you've supplied to SMF.
