Hello,

Just finished creating the homepage for a site I hope to have finished in the next couple of weeks. It's a site for consumers to learn money-saving (basically, living frugal) tips and advice. Coded it in Dreamweaver. As I mentioned, only have the homepage complete, but I'm very pleased with how it's looking so far, and how I've balanced the ads with the content.

Let me know what you think!

Constructive comments and advice greatly appreciated! :)

Thanks,

Dan

It has the feel of an infomercial. Is that your purpose? I generally shy away from sites like it since they give you a lot of fluff and no real useful information. Sorry for the stereotype.

Hi,

Actually I like it - but do avoid it becoming an advertising channel - make sure you have some solid content - which I think you are developing.

The name is great - keep it yours! Surprising it hasn't been used.

Not quite sure about the type using in the heading, it seems a bit fifties - or is that the steady stable confidence building image you are trying for?

How did you manage to get so much advertising on board so early?

Best regards

Thanks for the input guys. I just redesigned the home page (including the logo and layout). I have all of the tips pages up, just need a couple more things.

1. Need to figure out how to do a blog on my site that uses RSS

2. Need to find a place where I can get forums like these and use my own google adsense ads

3. Need to learn how to do Search engine optimization on my own and for free

Frank, my adds are all google adsense ad on every page. It's a program you can sign up for.

I'm actually pretty pleased with how the site is turning out. Can't wait to get some traffic! :)

Thanks again for your comments! :)
