x10 HOSTING I NEED HELP....I GOT SOME LOUSY SOCCER SIGS AND PUT THEM ON MY FORUM AND THE SITE I GOT SOME FROM HACKED MY SITE...NOT RUINED JUST CHANGED SOME STUFF, LIKE A COUPLE OF MY MEMBER'S SIGNATURES (n4tec was one of them)

I CHANGED IT BACK, BUT STOP HIM FROM GETTING INTO MY ACCOUNT, I DIDN'T GIVE A PASSWORD OR ANYTHIN...HE'S HACKIN IN MY SITE...

I know he didn't do much, but still, he could do much worse...is x10 not secure or whaT?

Can you not ban this ip in your cpanel anywhere ?? I think theres a spot to do that.

I don't know and anyone can easily change their IP.

You can block a range of ip`s as well as just one.

It may not be that x10 is not secure, but that the forum you use is not secure, since he hacked into the forum.

Nope. Usually when they hack the server, they post a message/image on all of the sites.

and there is a site that has a list of all hacked sites.. forgotten the link..

Blackbird7: probably whoever changed my sig @ your forum changed the file name to etoo sig..

It definetly wasn't something to do with the actual "x10hosting". Most likly he just exploited something in one of your script for your forum, and/or found out someones password. Check your logs, and update your forum "software" if needed.. I don't know what else to say. Oh, change your passwords ;)
