Hi!

My site: podemosjugar.x10host.com were down. When I try to enter the site, it brings back an error 500 message.

I fixed the problem going back to 5.6 PHP version, choosing mysql function, but I still have some questions. Do I have to choose more functions?

How can I update the PHP version of my site? I try to update the WordPress version through Softaculous to 5.3.2 and it gives a "There has been a critical error on your website" message. It looks like that happened because of the PHP version.

Thanks in advance!

as for your php version, go to the directadmin panel,
then extra features, then select php version.
click where it says set as current it will open the versions available.

As for the "There has been a critical error on your website" message,
that looks like a wordpress specific error related to multiple reasons
like plugins to the php version.

without knowing the exact error related to it,
its hard to determine the cause without debugging wordpress.

personally i do not use wordpress myself, but there is a lot on the error
message when you search it in google etc.
