my site is gone!

I've been having problems synchronising my files to what I've previously uploaded through my FTP client, so in a moment of stupidity i deleted what I suppose are default files. Now I can't get them back and I can't view my site at all, so even when i upload new files it doesn't show. Is there any way to get those files back? What should I do??

now my site just shows that 404 Error page.

You weren't supposed to delete anything outside of the public_html folder. We are going to have to recreate your account. Let me know when you want me to do it.

oh dear... if that's the case then I guess you could help me recreate it! thanks so much! i'm so new to all this! will definitely not touch anything i don't know next time! =(

Do you have any files that you need backed up?

nope it's fine, all the files are on my laptop thankfully =)

Hi,

I restored the needed files, everything should be the same and your account should work. Just put the files in the public_html folder you want displayed on your site. You can replace the index.html I put in there.
