Hello

i created my website in the public_html/start folder and after installation i could enter it with
http://geoshots.x10.mx/start
But now i get a 404 error page though the files are still in the start folder.
MUST the files be under the public_html folder directly?

Then, my site is older than 1 month now. Is it possible to get unlimited disk space?
Of course, i do not host warez, uncopyrighted material etc.
For now i just want to host the site to test it and to develop. My site needs a lot of geodata which will be bigger than 500 mb, thats why i needed unlimited disk space.

Sincerely
Ralph

You need some sort of index page in public_html. Replace the default one that came with the account.

You also need an index page in /start . Looks like you are getting a 404 there because you do not have an index.html/php page there.

Once you have a functioning site, ask for the upgrade again.

And it is not "unlimited". It is "unmetered", which means as long as all your files relate your working site and the amount is within reason, there is no problem.

Hello

thanks for your quick reply.
I have an index.html in the public_html folder but when i modify it, there are no changes on http://geoshots.x10.mx/.
There is always the same text.
I do not know what happened the last weeks because i didn't change any files on my account (and i only have 1 account at x10hosting).
When i uploaded my files a few weeks ago, all was running wonderful.
(Perhaps it's because i forgot to login in the forums the last 30 days? i'm not totally sure if i logged in regularly)
So - to loose not more time by trial and error - i think it's the best when my account + domain is fully deleted and i create a new account (same mail and domain).
Could you do that? Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks
Ralph
